MahaDBT Scholarship 2023

MahaDBT or Aaple Sarkar DBT is an online scholarship portal launched by the Government of Maharashtra. Different types of scholarship programs are available on this portal. There are 8 departments of Maharashtra connected on this portal and offers around 38 post-metric scholarship programs. Interested candidates can apply for a post-matric scholarship through this portal. From time to time, the application window is opened on this portal, then the interested candidates fill the online application form and submit it on the portal. It is very easy to manage a large number of beneficiary candidates through this portal and through this DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) system, the scholarship amount is sent to the beneficiary’s bank account.

After applying for the scholarship on this portal, candidates can also check the status of their application in future. After the funds are transferred to the beneficiary’s account, they will be notified by SMS. This portal works automatically and helps in verifying a large number of candidates easily. Objective of Maha DBT

This portal has been started with the aim of providing financial assistance by the government to provide good education to the students of the state who are unable to study due to poor financial condition. In your view, there will be many children who are unable to study due to poverty and have to work from a young age. Some students have to complete their elementary education in some way but their family is not able to enroll in higher education institution. Different scholarship programs have been started to help such students.

MahaDBT Last Date

Students who are interested to apply for a scholarship can apply through the online portal after the application window opens. The portal application window for the application for session 2021 was opened only in December 2020. After that, the last date of application for this was ~~31st January 2021~~. But later due to the Coronavirus epidemic, the online application date has been extended to 31st May 2021. Interested candidates who want to apply for this, can apply online.

MahaDBT Scholarship Online Apply – Application Process

Interested candidates who want to apply for scholarship on MahaDBT portal can easily apply after the application window opens. To apply, first registration has to be done in the portal, after which the applicant will have to log in and create a profile. After this, you will be able to apply for scholarship. 1. MahaDBT Registration

The first step for online application is that the applicant has to be registered in the portal. You can easily register by following the following steps.

For this, first, you have to go to the official website of MahaDBT. For this, you can go by clicking on this link.
After that, the homepage of the website will appear in front of you. Here you have to click on the “Post Matric Scholarship” option on the right side.
Now a new page will open in front of you, here you have to click on the “New Applicant Registration” option on the right side.
Now the registration form will appear in front of you. In this form, you have to enter Applicant Name, Username, Password, Email Id, Mobile Number, etc.

After this, you will have to verify email and mobile OTP.
After filling in all the information, click on the “Register” button below.
After this, your registration will be completed, the message of successful registration will also appear on your screen.

2. Complete Registration

After the registration is complete, the applicant will have to log in to the portal. After that the application form has to be filled. Let us know the step wise process of logging into the portal below.

For this, first, you have to go to the official website of MahaDBT. After this, the homepage will appear in front of you.
On the homepage, on the right side, you have to click on the option “Post Matric Scholarship“.
On the next page, you have to click on the “Applicant Login” option.

3. MahaDBT Profile Complete

Once the candidate logs in to the portal, the process of applying for the scholarship starts. In the below, we are telling you the step-wise information of filling the application after login.

After logging into the portal, a new page will appear in front of you. On this page, you are being asked “Do You Have Aadhaar Number“. If you have an Aadhaar number, select “Yes” and enter your Aadhaar Number.
After that, you can choose OTP for verification or if the mobile number is not linked to Aadhaar, then you can also verify with biometric.
If you select your OTP option and click on “Send OTP” then OTP will come to your registered mobile number, enter it and click on “Verify OTP“.

Now a registration form will appear in front of you. In this form, a lot of information would have been fetched from the Aadhaar card beforehand.

4. MahaDBT Profile Complete

Here first you have to fill in your personal information. Here you have to fill in the full name of the applicant, Parent / Guardian Mobile Number, Marital Status, Religion Details, Caste Details, Income Details, Bank Details, etc.
After filling in all the information, you will also have to upload documents like Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Domicile Certificate, etc.

Here you have to enter the information of Admission Year in Current Course, Institute State, Institute District, Institute Taluka, Qualification Level, Stream, College / School Name, etc.
In addition, the CAP ID Certificate will have to be uploaded.
After filling in all the information, click on the “Save” button below.

Now a new tab will appear in front of you. In this section, you have to fill in the qualification details.
Here you have to fill in the details of Qualification Level, Stream, Completed, Institute State, District, Taluka, Collage / School Name, Course, Board / University, Mode, Admission Year, Passing Year, Result, Percentage, Attempts, etc.
Also, you have to upload the mark sheet.

Similarly, you can also add details of your other courses.
To proceed, click on the “Hostel Details” option below.

Select whether you are a Hosteller or a Day Scholar.
After that, if you select Hosteller, then you have to fill in the details related to the hostel.

5. Apply for Eligible Scholarship

When you have completed the profile after filling the application form, then you can apply for the eligible scholarship program. Let us know about it in detail.

When you complete your profile, after that you will have to click on the option “Post Matric Scholarship” at the top.
Now a list of many scholarships will come in front of you. You have to apply for a scholarship according to your caste.
As we are applying for the “Post Matric Scholarship for OBC“, you have to click on the “VJNT, OBC, and SBC Welfare Department” option and then click on the “Post Matric Scholarship to OBC” option in front.

After this, on the next page, you have to click on the “Applicant Login” option.
After that, you will have to log in by entering your username, password, and captcha.
After logging into the portal, you have to click on the “Applied Scheme” option on the left side.
Details of the scholarship for which you have applied will appear on this page.
To print the application form, click on the “View” button in front.

Process to Download Declaration Form

When you apply for scholarship on MahaDBT portal, you will need to download the Declaration Form. If you do not upload the declaration form, then your application will not be accepted. Therefore, you will have to download the declaration form and print it and fill all its information. After filling all the information and after signing, the form will have to be uploaded to be scanned.

After logging into the portal, click on the option “Grievance / Suggestions” below.
Now a form will appear in front of you. In this form, you will have to fill in the details of your complaint.
After that, you can attach the relevant documents as well.

MahaDBT Scholarship Renewal Process

Applicants who got the benefit of scholarship last year, currently need to renew the application, only then they will get the benefit of scholarship this year as well. We are going to know the below step wise procedure for renewing the application. You can renew the scholarship application by following the simple steps mentioned below.

For this, first, you have to go to the official website of MahaDBT. The homepage of the website will appear in front of you.
Here you first have to click on “Post Matric Scholarship” on the left side. After that, you have to click on the “Applicant Login” option on the next page.
Now you have to log in by entering your username, password, and captcha.

After saving all the details, click on the option “Hostel Details” below.
If you are a hosteller, then you have to select “Hosteller” and fill in the details. Or if you are a Day Scholar, then he has to be selected.

After completing the profile, you have to click on the option “My Applied Scheme History” on the left side.
After this, a new page will appear in front of you. Here you have to select the latest year and then click on the “Search” button.

Then the details of your previous year’s scholarship will come down. Here you have to copy the Application Id. Also, the Department Name and Scheme Name have to be kept in mind.
Now click on the option “Post Matric Scholarship” in the top menu,
here you have to select the department and scheme name. The scholarship for which was applied last year will have to be selected.

After reading the instructions on the next page, click on the “Apply for this scheme” option.
Now a form will appear in front of you. Some details will have to be filled in it.
First of all, you have to select ‘Yes‘ in “Is this Renewal Application” and enter the application ID of the previous year.

Similarly, you will also have to fill in other details and upload the Undertaking form as well.

Now your scholarship form will be submitted. A dialog box will appear on your screen, which will contain the name and application ID of the applicant. If you want, you can note the application ID.

Process to Reset Login Password

If you are registered on the portal and have forgotten your login password, then you will not be able to log in. You must reset the password to log in to the portal. The process of resetting the password is described below. You can easily reset the password by following the steps mentioned below.

For this, first, you have to go to the official website of Maha DBT. For this, you can go by clicking on this link.
After this, a new page will appear in front of you. On this page, you have to click on the “Applicant Login” option on the right side.
Then on the next page, you have to click on the “Forgot Password” option.

Now OTP will be received on your registered mobile number, you will have to verify it.
Once the OTP is verified, you will have the option to set a new password.
